Prophet Segun Oluwayomi was born to the late Leader of the Church of the Lord, Aiyede Ekiti, Pa. Samuel Adewunmi Oluwayomi and late Prophetess Victoria Oluwayomi. It is on record that madam Victoria was barren for over thirty years of her marriage. She had her first child when she was over fifty years of age. Segun is the third and the only male child of the family. In his youth, Segun lived with his uncle late Prophet Joshua Oluwayomi, then a serving Minister of the church of the Lord. This provided him with solid prayer base and a deep insight into the scriptures. He worshipped in several other churches later in life and experienced various doctrines until the challenge of founding the House of Prayer Ministries for All Nations was graciously placed in his hands.
